Overview of Filtering the Grid
The Estimate Grid provides a comprehensive filtering feature to help you efficiently locate and manage project estimates. You can filter, sort and manage the list of project estimates in the hub by using Specific Criteria or through the Search Box.
-
Filtering by Criteria
On the grid, you can refine your view based on specific criteria. These criteria include Quote Number, Contract Description, Creation Date, Start Date, Follow-up Date, Customer, Site, Status, Tendered Price, and Last Save.
Click on any of the Grid Column Headers to sort the Project Estimates by the respective criteria. Clicking on it will filter the grid by Ascending Order and clicking on it again will sort it by Descending Order. When you select any of the Grid Column Headers, all of the Estimate Projects that are nested and categorised will only filter within its category.
Undoing the Criteria
If you click the Undo Sort button, the grid will revert to its default order, clearing any sorting applied. You can also do this by clicking on the Quote No grid column header.
-
Using the Find and Search box
Above the Estimation Grid at the top left of the grid, there is a find and search box that you can use to filter by specific wording. You can use specific keywords in the Find and Search box to narrow down the estimates you are looking for.
To use the Find and Search box effectively, start by entering specific keywords that relate to the project or criteria you are looking for. These keywords can be a quote number, a customer’s name or a contract description.
Now, when you press the Enter key after typing your search terms or press the Find button, the grid will be filtered to display only the estimates relevant to your search.
Undoing the Search
You can return to the full list of estimates by clicking the Clear button once you have finished searching through the search box.
