Copying Estimates
  1. Reasons to Copy Estimates?

    The Enterprise Server allows you to copy estimates that already exist in your project list. This is different from Variation or Revision as it’s not a subsequent change to an existing estimation.

    This tool creates a separate estimation project, copying the model, rates, amendments from the copied estimation. This can be useful when you need to create a similar project with slight modifications, saving time and effort.

  2. Choose the Copy Option

    To copy an estimate, navigate to the Projects Tab to open the Enterprise Server Hub. Above the project list is a box called Choose an action. From here, Click on the Action drop-down menu and select the Copy tool.

  3. Select the Estimate to Copy

    Once the tool has been selected, navigate to the estimate you wish to copy and click on it to highlight it. You should notice the Action button has changed to say whether you would like to copy the estimate.

  4. Making a Copy of the Estimate

    Finally, click the Action button directly to create a copy of the selected estimate. The copy will be created in the same folder as the original. In addition, the copy will have a new quote number to differentiate it from the rest of the projects.
