Overview of System Requirements
Before you purchase or install SMART Estimator, it’s important to make sure your computer meets the basic system requirements. This helps the software run smoothly and gives you the best experience.

Minimum Requirements
To operate SMART Estimator, the following hardware specifications are recommended:
Component Minimum Processor 2 GHz quad core on a compatible 64-bit processor Memory 8 GB Display High definition (720p) display that is greater than 9” diagonally, minimum 1024 x 768 pixels with high colour Graphics Compatible with DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver, with 2GB dedicated RAM.
A separate graphics card is recommended, rather than on-board graphicsHard Disk 3.5 GB Operating System - Windows 11 64-bit (23H2 edition or later) or
- Windows 10 64-bit (23H2 edition or later)
Internet An internet connection is required to license SMART Estimator on launch, and to use some features. -
Windows 11 Operating System
Microsoft Windows 11 has additional hardware requirements in addition to those required by SMART Estimator, described below- Click on the button:
In addition, only a limited set of AMD graphics cards are supported by Windows 11:

Cloud Storage & Remote Desktop Services
Cloud Storage Services (including OneDrive)
SMART Estimator may not behave correctly if a cloud provider (such as Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, DropBox.com, etc.) is used to store data required by SMART Estimator. This includes app settings, Windows temporary files, SMART Estimator autosaves or SMART Estimator Enterprise data.Please use SMART Scaffolder cloud storage or storage on your local drive for this data
Remote Desktop Services:
For support on configuring Remote Desktop Services or any other remote application services solution, please see your solution provider (e.g. Microsoft). CADS support is provided for SMART Estimator, except for remote application services.
SMART Estimator is not tested under any other related deployment solution, such as those provided by Citrix. An expert on Remote Desktop Services may be required to install SMART Estimator under this type of deployment. CADS cannot provide Remote Desktop Services deployment assistance.
