For Iphone and Ipad users
If you’re seeing a “Storage is Full” message on your iPhone or iPad, it may be related to the Live Photos feature, please look at the steps below to resolve the issue.
If you are attempting to add photos from your iPhone’s photo gallery into SMART Handover or SMART Inspector and receive this message or similar; It is possible that this issue is due to the Live Photo feature, it happens because Live Photos take up significantly more space than standard images. Click here to view the steps to turn off the Live Photos.

How to turn off Live Photos:
From the Camera app, tap the Live Photos button to turn off Live Photos. A slash through the Live Photos button means the feature has been turned off.
The Camera app will turn Live Photos on again automatically. To keep Live Photos turned off permanently, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Camera > Preserve Settings.
- Make sure the switch next to Live Photo is turned on.
Disclaimer on turning off Live Photos
The option to turn off Live Photos is not available within SMART Apps currently. This feature is controlled by your device’s native Camera app.
