Tube and fitting

The Check IT TG20:13 module puts Quality Assurance (QA) at the heart of your business. This plug-in module provides an essential TG20:13 Summary Report; displayed on-screen in real time or in a detailed printed report. Issue TG20:13 compliant drawings, 3D models and more using the NASC Best Practice Guidance together with the SMART Estimator suite of modules, including the Check IT TG20:13 plug-in.

  • Automatically checks your scaffold against TG20:13 criteria while you work
  • By helping you to learn TG20:13, bringing TG20:13 to life with graphics, summaries and guidance
  • Creates drawings and load lists that comply with the TG20:13 bracing patterns
  • Summarise, in a printable and exportable format, which of your project scaffolds are compliant so you save money on design
  • Identify which of your project scaffolds are not compliant and thus may require design

Why use the Check IT TG20:13 module?

TG20:13 is a guide to good practice for tube and fitting and system scaffolding published by the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) and developed by CADS (SMART Scaffolder’s parent company). Typical scaffold projects consist of multiple scaffolds and therefore will require multiple individual Compliance Sheets generated with the NASC Best Practice Guidance. These individual Compliance Sheets can now be supplemented with a TG20:13 Summary Report created in SMART Estimator.

How is TG20:13 enhanced?

Check IT TG20:13 supports your work within TG20:13 and simplifies the design process:

  • By automatically checking your scaffold against TG20:13 criteria while you work
  • By helping you to learn TG20:13, bringing TG20:13 to life with graphics, summaries and guidance
  • By creating drawings and load lists that comply with the TG20:13 bracing patterns
  • By using the TG20:13 tie rules to estimate the number of ties required for a scaffold
  • By summarising, in a printable and exportable format, which of your project scaffolds are compliant scaffolds
By identifying which of your project scaffolds are not compliant and thus may require design
  • By offering suggestions and guidance on how to make your project compliant.
