Background

This is a great opportunity to play a lead role in the development of range of Cloud and mobile software for the construction industry, winner of the B1M-Kier Future Construction Award.

You will be working within a team of software developers and construction industry experts to design and develop a range of iOS and Android mobile apps linked to a central web management console.

You will play a lead role in the design and development of the server-side modules, expanding on our range of Cloud Native modules built on Microsoft Azure and expanding them with greenfield development.

Required skills:

You should be enthusiastic about software development, have good written and verbal communication skills, and enjoy working within a dynamic, distributed team of creative software developers and industry experts.

You should be experienced in the following languages and tools:

• Visual Studio, C#, .NET Core/.NET 5/6
• Web API, Entity Framework.
• Microsoft Azure.
• Azure SQL databases.

The following are also advantageous:

• Azure platform services such as Azure AD, Azure Functions, Azure Storage.
• DevOps experience.
• Experience working in a team environment with source control such as Git.
• CI/CD experience with a tool such as Jenkins.

A degree in a discipline related to software development will also be an advantage.
